Successful Workshop in Frankfurt proved the tool to be "useful"

The representatives of the 4F project have met for the third time this year. The workshop was hosted by Floorball Gemany and took place in Frankfurt. The main task was to continue the work on the maturity model of sports federations.

"It's challenging and currently requires a large amount of time investment from all project members. But we're already halfway through our key tool we're aiming to build. Its test version should be completely ready early next year, then the individual federations will take over and will try it out in practice. I'm really looking forward to that," says Filip Šuman, who is in charge of the project in terms of content. He adds: "During the latest workshop, we tried the first partial individual evaluation of the state of each country and it was clearly confirmed that that the tool as we intend it works. When complete, it will offer users a unique comprehensive view of the state of their federation, while showing where the barriers to development are and also the way forward. I truly believe that thanks to this we can speed up the development of floorball in a European context."

An intense work continues also outside the workshops when all the project members get tasks to fulfill. "The working group receives work every week and we expect to finish the first phase by the end of February. Subsequently, we will be waiting for an in-depth analysis of the federation and the setting of further steps that will be important for our development," describes Peter Zámečník from Slovak Floorball Federeration.

During the months of November and December, online meetings will be held to continue advancing and be ready for the next meeting again in January in Zurich.
